How to register for your IELTS test?

If you would like to book your IELTS test with us, click on either of the buttons above and follow these three easy steps:
 
Step 1: Make your application
Complete the online application form. You will be able to upload an electronic copy of the identity document used for your application.
 
Step 2: Payment
The test fee in 2023 is €205. You can pay bank transfer, credit/debit card or by cash.

You will be given bank transfer details during the online booking process.

You can pay cash or card at the reception desk in Cork English College.

Please remember to write the name of the person taking the test or the IELTS reference number as the reference for the transfer. It is important that you email a copy of your payment confirmation/receipt to ielts@corkenglishcollege.ie immediately after making the payment.
Please note that you must pay for your IELTS test within 3 working days from the day you register. 
Step 3: ID Document
If you did not upload a copy of your ID when you registered online, email a scanned copy to ielts@corkenglishcollege.ie. or post a photocopy of the identity document you will use on the test day.

The ID document must be either a valid passport or National Identity Card from a European Union country.
Please note that you must submit the above documents within 3 working days from the day you register. If the documents are not received within stated deadline, your booking may be cancelled.
 
Important Booking and Test Day Information:
A confirmation e-mail will be sent on receipt of payment/proof of payment and your. Please note that it can take up to one week to process your application.
Approximately 3 days before the test date, we will send a second email with all test dates and times and detailed information on the test centre and what to bring on the day. 
Note: The Listening, Reading and Writing modules will all take place on the main test date (8.30am – 1pm approx.). The speaking tests usually take place in the afternoon of the same day or the previous day (Friday). However, they can take place anytime within 7 days before or after the main test date. If you have a special request – such as a speaking test on the main test day – please contact the office. Although we will do our best to accommodate you, we cannot guarantee that we can schedule a speaking test at your preferred time.
Note: Please check your email inbox and junk mail inbox regularly. You may also wish to list our email address ielts@corkenglishcollege.ie as ‘not junk mail’ or ‘safe’ in your email provider’s settings.

Once you have registered online and your application is complete you will have free access to the ‘Road to IELTS’ providing you with over 30 hours of free online practice material.
