How to register for IELTS exam?
Online registration will entitle you to free access to the Road to IELTS online preparation course.
If you would like to make an online application, click on the above button and follow these three easy steps:
Step 1: Complete the online application form. You will be able to upload an electronic copy of the identity document used for your application.
Step 2: Make the payment of the test fee. You can pay by credit/debit card, bank transfer, cheque, postal order or cash. The Credit/Debit Card Authorisation Form is available in the ‘Downloads’ section. Please complete it and post it or email it to us (firstname.lastname@example.org) Cheque and postal order payments should be made out to ‘Cork English College’.
If you wish to pay by bank transfer, you will receive the bank account details in an automatic email after you apply online. Please remember to write the name of the person taking the test or the IELTS reference number as the reference for the transfer. It is important that you email a copy of your payment confirmation/receipt to email@example.com immediately after making the payment.
Please note that you must pay for your IELTS test within 3 working days from the day you register.
The test fee in 2017 is €197.
Step 3: If you did not upload it when you registered online, email a scanned copy or post a photocopy of the identity document you will use on the test day. The ID document must be either a valid passport or National Identity Card from a European Union country.

Note: Please make sure you address the letter to the IELTS Department. Failure to do so may result in delays in processing your application.
Please note that you must submit the above documents within 3 working days from the day you register. If the documents are not received within stated deadline, your booking may be cancelled.
A confirmation e-mail will be sent on receipt of the above documents. Please note that it can take up to one week to process your application.
Approximately 5 days before the test date, we will send a second email with all test dates and times and detailed information on the test centre and what to bring on the day. If you wish to receive a written letter instead of an email, please include a note stating this request with your application form.
Note: The listening, reading and writing modules will all take place on the main test date (8.45am – 1pm approx.). The speaking tests usually take place in the afternoon of the same day or the previous day (Friday). However, they can take place anytime within 7 days before or after the main test date. If you have a special request – such as a speaking test on the main test day – please contact the office. Although we will do our best to accommodate you, we cannot guarantee that we can schedule a speaking test at your preferred time.
